We collect only what you choose to send us, use it only to reply to you or to send what you asked for, and never sell it.
Who we are
- The Atlantic Construction Podcast is produced in Halifax, Nova Scotia. This notice covers this website and its forms.
- Questions, corrections or removal requests: info@atlanticconstructionpodcast.com.
What we collect, and only when you give it to us
- Be-a-guest applications: your name, company, role, region, a link, and what you'd talk about.
- Business, services and partnership enquiries: your name, company, what you're interested in, and your message.
- The Punch List: your email address, and where on the site you signed up.
- With any form, we also receive the page or link that brought you to the site (for example, a LinkedIn post), so we know which channels are useful.
Why we use it
- To read and answer what you sent us. Guest applications are judged on merit; guest spots are never sold.
- To send the Punch List, only if you asked for it. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe, and we stop the moment you use it.
- We never sell, rent or trade your information, and we don't use it for advertising.
Where it's kept
- Form submissions are stored in a private Google Sheet in our own Google account, and a copy of each enquiry is emailed to the show's team (the host, the executive producer and our shared inbox).
- Submissions that look automated are set aside in the same private sheet and are never answered.
What your browser stores
- No advertising or tracking cookies. Site analytics (Vercel Web Analytics) are cookieless and count visits in aggregate, without identifying you.
- Your browser keeps, for the current visit only, the link that brought you here. If you save lessons to your Punch List sheet, they stay in your browser and are never sent to us.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries and applications: as long as they're useful for the conversation, and never longer than two years after our last contact.
- The Punch List: until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove you.
Your choices
- You can ask to see, correct or delete anything you sent us. Email info@atlanticconstructionpodcast.com and we'll act within 30 days.
- We handle personal information in line with Canada's privacy law (PIPEDA) and send commercial email only with consent, as Canada's anti-spam law (CASL) requires.
